The AVN441HD encodes high definition or standard definition video, HDMI (DVI-D with optional adaptor cable), Component YPbPr / RGB inputs up to 1080p in an h.264 stream (MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC) for high quality video at lower bandwidths. SD inputs are also supported. This compact encoder streams at 4 to 20 Mbps throughput. It has balanced and unbalanced audio inputs and volume control plus RS-232 and RS-422 control accessed via an RJ-45 receptacle. Ideal for larger systems - mounts in a high-density Media Processing Platform (up to 8 channels in a three RU chassis size).
